However, I was surprised by the reference to tattoos so I looked it up in Leviticus (groan); but it seems to condemn tattoos in relation to other actions that mourn the dead. So presumably David Beckham style tattoos are okay :-)
Also, I have never heard of the requirement for Christians to keep Saturday as the sabbath (or that any one does keep it as such). What have I missed here?
Not having looked it up I thought it was to do with being unblemished? I expect this is another way the Israelites were to be different to their neighbors.
